咽鼓管的重要性已为众所公认,但有关咽鼓管的解剖和机能,迄今在解剖学和耳科学书刊中尚缺乏详尽描述,且多数皆局限于成人。本文论述了儿童咽鼓管解剖的年龄变化、管口开启的神经-肌肉调节及其临床意义。
The importance of eustachian tubes has been well established, but the anatomy and function of eustachian tubes has so far not been well characterized in anatomy and otology publications, and most are confined to adults. This article discusses the age variation of the eustachian tube in children and the neuromuscular regulation of mouth opening and its clinical significance.
