Content Analysis of Quantitative Analysis of Characters in TV Dramas Placed in 168 Golden Hours. The results showed that of the 1794 people recorded, 79 were elderly people over the age of 60, accounting for only 4.4%, far below the proportion of the elderly population in the total population in real life. Most of the elders in the prime-time TV series have better material and spiritual living conditions and have positive psychological and behavioral characteristics. Through the comparison with similar researches in foreign countries, we laid a preliminary foundation for further content analysis and study and the relationship between television and the elderly or aging.
