与李大钊一起英勇就义的革命英烈范鸿劼,在北京大学求学时,参加过五四运动、马克思学说研究会、共产主义小组。中国共产党诞生后,任中共北方区委宣传部部长,主编《政治生活》周刊,组织领导北方革命群众反对帝国主义、反对军阀的斗争。1927年4月被捕,28日,与李大钊等一起面对绞刑架,镇定自若,从容就义。
