档案工作在我国是一项有悠久历史传统的工作,我国文化典籍这样丰富,历史研究工作这样发达,是同档案工作分不开的。解放以后,在党的领导下,档案工作发生了根本的变化,出现了崭新的面貌。现在,全国档案成为人民的文化财富,不再是少数人的私产;档案工作为无产阶级政治服务,为社会主义革命和社会主义建设服务,不再为反动统治阶级效劳。现在,建立了按照集中统一原则分级管理的全国规模的档案事业,彻底改变了过去那种杂乱无章、各自为政的局面。
Archives work in our country is a work with a long history and tradition. Enriching our country’s cultural classics and developing history research work are inseparable from the work of archives. After the liberation, under the leadership of the party, archives work has undergone fundamental changes and a brand new appearance has emerged. At present, the national archives have become the cultural wealth of the people and no longer the private property of the few. Archival work serves the proletarian politics and serves the socialist revolution and socialist construction and no longer serves the reactionary ruling classes. Now, the establishment of a nationwide archives enterprise that has been managed in a centralized and unified manner has completely changed the chaotic and fragmentary past.
