当前,图书馆租书已经成为一种客观存在,盲目地否定或一味地肯定都不是应取的态度。笔者认为,租书,决不是图书馆事业发展的方向和出路。但是,在目前购书经费严重不足、图书馆工作人员工资及福利待遇偏低的情况下,出租图书作为有偿服务的一个项目,一种创收手段,有其存在的合理性。为使图书馆租书能健全地开展,笔者将几点思考公诸于图书馆界同仁,以期作更深入地探讨。
At present, the library rental book has become an objective existence, blindly denied or blindly affirmed is not the attitude should be taken. I believe that renting books, by no means the direction of the development of the library and the way out. However, under the current serious shortage of funds for purchasing books and the low salaries and benefits of library staff, renting books as a project of paid services and a means of revenue generation has its existence rationality.
