英语教育作为高等教育的一个重要组成部分,这个时候的英语学习比任何时候都要重要。然而,当前我国高校英语教学中还存在着或多或少的问题,严重制约了英语教学的质量和效率,同时也不利于学生在英语技能各方面的全面发展。笔者从我国高校英语教学的现状着手,在分析其存在的诸多问题基础上提出了提升新时期高校英语教学质量的有效策略,以期促进当代高校英语教育的又好又快的向前发展。
English education as an important part of higher education, English learning at this time is more important than ever. However, there are still more or less problems in college English teaching in our country, which seriously hampers the quality and efficiency of English teaching. At the same time, it is also not conducive to students’ all-round development in all aspects of English skills. Based on the analysis of its existing problems, the author puts forward some effective strategies to improve the quality of English teaching in colleges and universities in the new period with a view to promoting sound and rapid development of contemporary college English education.
