吕少华,一九六○年出生于上海,号默庵,祖籍浙江东阳。他对篆刻的喜爱,缘起于中学时看到班主任用橡皮刻上“语文”、“数学”等字敲在作业本上,颇觉好玩,由此开始了从参加篆刻的兴趣小组到参加上海市书法篆刻联展和各种篆刻大奖赛,最后参加西泠印社全国篆刻作品评展三届连续折桂并加入西泠印社的篆刻人生历程。
