由于德国机械制造业的发达以及相关工程技术的优势,德国的枪械技术从18世纪下半叶以来一直领先于世界。精良的制造技术与战术适应性的有机结合,到二战时期已经发展到了极致。德国枪械在半个多世纪以前已经达到的水平,包括结构设计、生产工艺以及材料运用等各方面的概念和技术,就是到今天来看也不落伍,并且也从来没有像现在这样广泛地运用于世界枪械制造业中。VP70式冲锋手枪就是其中的代表作之一。
Due to the development of the German machinery manufacturing industry and the advantages of related engineering technologies, the German firearms technology has been leading the world since the second half of the 18th century.
