习仲勋同志(1913-2002)是中国共产党的优秀党员,伟大的共产主义战士,杰出的无产阶级革命家,我党、我军卓越的政治工作领导人,陕甘边区革命根据地的主要创建者和领导者之一,国务院原副总理,中国共产党第十一届中央委员会书记处书记,第十二届中央政治局委员、书记处书记,第五届、第七届全国人民代表大会常务委员会副委员长。习仲勋同志也是我国宗教工作的卓越领导人。新中国建立后在主持西北局工作和在国务院工作期间,改革开放后在中央工作期间,他分管宗教工作,为推动我国宗教制度改革、落实党的宗教政策、团结宗教界人士和广大信教群众,作出了历史性的贡献。在习仲勋同志诞辰100周年之际,中国佛教协会、中国道教协会、中国伊斯兰教协会、中国天主教“一会一团”、中国基督教全国两会负责人,国家宗教事务局部分老干部纷纷撰文,表达了对习仲勋同志的深切缅怀之情。
