The theoretical and experimental studies on the nonlinear characteristics of PZT are given. The experimental curves of electromechanical coupling characteristics of PZT with different voltages are given. The relationship between the applied voltage and the mechanical deformation is discussed in detail. Finally, according to the experimental results, the PZT is used as the linear working area when the actuator, the nonlinear work area and the cut-off area
