在使用三爪卡盘装卡较大或较小尺寸的工件时,三爪被调至卡盘最外和最里部分,这样会使卡盘的盘旋扣部分外露。在加工过程中,尤其是加工铸铁件时,就会落上许多氧化皮和铁屑。如果不及时清理,就会磨损盘旋扣,使它很快的失去精度或使卡爪移动不灵。如果立即清理,需要拆卸下来,比较麻烦。现在介绍一种简易的保护方法,只要将外露部分涂上一层黄油,使铁末与盘旋扣表面隔离,加工后将黄油除去即可。既简便,又省事。对延长三爪卡盘使用寿命有一定价值,希望大家参考使用。
