外语教学主要培养学生听,说,读,写四种技能,这四种技能是相辅相成,不可分割的,阅读尤是外语教学的一个重要环节.由于传统的阅读教学侧重于“Wordsand Sentences”的讲授,而忽略了“reading Skills”在教学中的重要性,致使许多同学有效地通过阅读确十分困难.如何提高学生的阅读能力是一个长期普遍存在的问题.一般认为掌握词汇量的多少对提高阅读能力起决定作用,有了词汇量,阅读中的任何问题都能解决.我以为这种认识还不十分全面,因为读书是一种十分复杂的过程,提高学生的阅读能力,除掌握一定的词汇外,培养阅读技巧尤为重要.
