利用高频CO2脉冲激光刻写了两种不同的长周期光纤光栅,研究了涂覆层对刻写的长周期光纤光栅的轴向应变传感特性的影响。发现在0~0.5 mm距离内,带涂覆层的长周期光纤光栅的轴向应变灵敏度比剥去涂覆层时的灵敏度要高,可以达到-1.2921 nm/mε。实验结果表明:带涂覆层的长周期光纤光栅具有更高的应变灵敏度和高的机械强度,它更适合用在轴向应变的传感测量中。
Two different long-period fiber gratings were written by using high-frequency CO2 pulsed laser to study the influence of the coating on the axial strain sensing characteristics of the written long-period fiber gratings. It is found that the axial strain sensitivity of the long-period fiber gratings with coating is higher than the sensitivity when the coating is peeled off within the range of 0-0.5 mm, which can reach -1.2921 nm / mε. The experimental results show that the long-period fiber grating with coating has higher strain sensitivity and high mechanical strength, which is more suitable for the sensing measurement of axial strain.
