This year, US refiners have expanded their refining capacity to refine crude oil into refined oil for export. The Wall Street Journal recently published an article analysis: The new upsurge in refining capacity in the United States is based on two reasons. First, compared with 2008, the U.S. crude oil output increased by 2.5 million barrels a day, an increase of 49%.
