前些年,李瑞环郑重地委托他的部下方放同志,把一封遗嘱信转交天津市委。信中说,他对天津人民有深厚的感情,他身后的事要委托天津办理,他逝世后留下来的东西孩子们都不继承,全家商量好了,统统变现资助天津贫困学生。在立这遗嘱前的1996年春,李瑞环就拿出5万元稿费资助了12名大学生;而且,这种捐助一直以“一位老共产党员”
