(2000年3月30日广东省第九届人民代表大会常务委员会第十七次会议通过) 广东省第九届人民代表大会常务委员会第十七次会议听取和审议了省人民政府《关于我省理顺农村基层管理体制工作的报告》。会议认为,省人民政府在依法理顺农村基层管理体制、撤销管理区办事处设立村民委员会的工作中,加强领导、精心组织、发扬民主、依法办事,取得了显著成效。会议对此表示满意。会议认为,在农村基层设立村民委员会、实行村民自治,是中共十一届三中全会以来农村改革的重要组成部分,反映了广大农民的利益和愿望,体现了社会主义民主的广泛性和真实性。实行村民自治,必将进一步激发广大农民的积极性,推动我省农村社会的全面进步和发展。会议指
