2009年,美国当代著名作家芭芭拉·金索芙(Barbara Kingsolver,1955一)推出新作《罅隙》(The Lacuna)。小说出版后评论界一片赞誉,认为这是继《毒木圣经》(1998)之后金索芙的又一部力作。金索芙在以畅销书作家身份进行创作的同时始终聚焦社会公正和弱势群体生存状态,表现出一位严肃作家对历史的深刻反思和对现实的辛辣讽喻。《罅隙》正是这样一部以史喻今的“严肃”之作。小说以二十世纪上半叶的美国和墨西哥为背景,将人物命运与社会历史变迁交织在一起,深入探讨了文化和意识形态对抗中的个体和民族身份认同问题。
In 2009, the famous contemporary American writer Barbara Kingsolver (1955) launched his new book The Lacuna. After the publication of the novel praised the critics, that this is following the poisonous wood Bible (1998) after another Sophie’s masterpiece.
