为解决典型EPON动态带宽分配算法因在每个授权周期中信道上存在空闲时间而导致网络性能降低的问题,提出最小空闲时间带宽分配算法(ITM-1和ITM-2).为部分光网络单元提前分配一个额外的带宽请求时隙,可减小甚至完全消除每个授权周期中出现的空闲时间,提高信道利用率.仿真结果表明:该算法较已有算法可明显改善网络的平均分组传输时延、最大分组时延、平均分组丢失率和吞吐量等性能.
In order to solve the problem that the typical EPON dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm degrades the network performance due to the idle time on the channel in each grant period, a minimum idle time bandwidth allocation algorithm (ITM-1 and ITM-2) is proposed. For some optical network units Allocating an extra bandwidth request slot in advance can reduce or even completely eliminate the idle time that occurs in each grant period and improve the channel utilization rate.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the average packet transmission time of the network Delay, maximum packet delay, average packet loss rate and throughput.
