97式“奇哈”中型坦克是日本第二次世界大战期间装备的中型坦克,日本定名为“97式中战车”。97是日本天皇纪年2597年(公元1937年)的后两位数字,“奇哈”是日本假名的汉语音译。该坦克由日本三菱重工业公司于1937年制成,1938年开始装备,一直服役到1945年,共装备了1500多辆。其中三菱重工业公司生产了1224辆,日立的龟有工厂和相模工厂生产了300多辆。本馆陈列的97式中型坦克,是1955年苏军驻旅大地区的第7机械化师临撤离前,赠送给沈阳军区装甲兵的。
97 “Qiha” medium tank is a medium-sized tank equipped during Japan’s Second World War, Japan is named “97-style tank.” 97 is the last two digits of the Japanese Emperor’s 2597 year (AD 1937), which is the Chinese transliteration of Japanese kana. The tank was made by Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1937 and started to equip in 1938. It has been in service until 1945 and is equipped with more than 1,500 vehicles. Of these, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries produced 1224 vehicles, more than 300 vehicles from Hitachi’s Turtle Factory and Sagami Plant. The 97-type medium-sized tank exhibited by the museum was presented to the Shenyang Military Region armored personnel before the withdrawal of the 7th mechanized division stationed in the LURD in 1955.
