Journal of Quantum Electronics. -2006, 23 (3). -413-415 (L) There are many factors affecting the threshold value of nonlinear microcavity bistability, such as dielectric refractive index, number of cycles, defect layer thickness, spectral line width and so on. However, the cavity mode red shift played a very important role. The influence of redshift on steady-state threshold is analyzed theoretically and numerically. Redshift is the first issue to consider when studying bistability thresholds. Reference 14
