美国混凝土协会(ACI,以下简称“协会”),组建于1905年,距今已80余年,乃系非谋利性的科技和教育组织。协会的会员有设计师、建筑师、土木工程师、企业主、混凝土技术工人、专家、教育工作者等,所涉及的人员范围比较广泛。其目的正如协会会章所表明“乃为混凝土结构的设计和施工;促进工程技术教育;科学调查和研究;发展标准化而工作。协会将组织会员们的工作成果为公共事业服务,为改进混凝土制品
The American Concrete Association (ACI, hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) was established in 1905 and has been a non-profit-making science, technology, and education organization for more than 80 years. The association’s members include designers, architects, civil engineers, business owners, concrete technicians, experts, educators, etc. The scope of personnel involved is relatively extensive. Its purpose is as stated in the association’s chapter of the congress: “It is for the design and construction of concrete structures; the promotion of engineering and technology education; scientific investigation and research; and the development of standardization. The association will organize the work of members to serve public utilities and improve concrete products.”
