This paper introduces a kind of intelligent tester based on 8098 single-chip microcomputer, which can be used to measure viscosity, viscoelasticity, thixotropy and other rheological properties of Newtonian fluid. The measuring principle, hardware composition and software design of the instrument are discussed. The instrument has the advantages of compact structure, easy to use, high reliability, real-time measurement of the scene.
