以“轻负担高质量”的教改成果享誉上海基础教育界的静安区教育学院附属学校是一所九年一贯制学校,由静安区的一所薄弱初中和一所普通小学合并重组而成。1994年,为改变薄弱学校面貌、促进教育均衡发展,静安区教育局决定让静安区教育学院承办起当时办学困难的海防中学,并更名为静安区教育学院附属中学。1996年,在上海取消“小升初”、保证小学质量的背景下,静安区的江三小学与静安区教育学院附中合并,重新命名为静安区教育学院附属学校。
