溧阳市泓口小学坐落在秀丽的濑水河畔,是一所充满活力的学校,学校附设江苏省优质幼儿园一所,小学部有20个教学班,在校学生863人。学校有专任教师48人,其中有“常州市学科带头人”“溧阳市骨干教师”等称号的骨干教师10名。多年来,学校坚持“让每个孩子获得适合的教育”的办学理念,依据《江苏省中小学管理规范》要求,围绕三年主动发展目标,深化教育教学改革,积极实施教育信息化工程,全面实施素质教育,减负增效,教育教学质量稳步提升。学校先后获得常州市优质小学、常州市德育特色学校、常州市示范图书馆、常州市实验室建设先进单位、常州市绿色学校、常州市“平安校园”、溧阳市科技特色学校、溧阳市校本培训先进单位、溧阳市校务公开先进单位等20多项荣誉。
