柴油机在工作时,燃料燃烧放出大量的热能,气缸内气体温度高达1800～2000℃。燃烧产生的热能中只有30％～40％转变为机械能,约有20％～25％被冷却系统所带走。如果冷却系统工作失常,冷却水温度过高或过低,会影响柴油机的正常工作,甚至发生故障和事故。
Diesel engine at work, the fuel combustion release a lot of heat, the cylinder gas temperature up to 1800 ~ 2000 ℃. Only 30% ~ 40% of the heat generated by combustion is converted into mechanical energy, and about 20% ~ 25% of the heat is taken away by the cooling system. If the cooling system malfunction, cooling water temperature is too high or too low, it will affect the normal operation of the diesel engine, and even failure and accident.
