中国共产党的优秀党员、久经考验的忠诚的共产主义战士、原中共中央顾问委员会委员、中共广东省委原第一书记、广东省军区原第一政委任仲夷同志于11月15日在广州逝世。这位深受人民崇敬爱戴的老领导、改革开放的先锋,选择了悄悄地离去, 使许多人难以理解。有人甚至埋怨省委为什么不搞告别仪式,为什么不让大家去寄托哀思,就秘密火化了。有些人知道我爱人雷宇同志是跟随任老从黑龙江到辽宁、又从辽宁到广东多年的参谋爱将,纷纷来电问询。为此我们接了不少电话,做了许多解释。
