2008年5月12日14时28分,一场罕见的8.0级特大地震突如其来,汶川美景,顷刻毁灭;断垣残梁,满目疮痍;人员伤亡,举国悲痛。破坏性强、波及范围广、受灾人数多、救灾难度大使之成为新中国成立以来最为严重的一场地震灾害。然而,在灾难面前生命的价值高于一切,全国的医务工作者们牢记使命,在第一时间从四面八方奔赴灾区,开展医疗救援,与人民子弟兵一起,不顾个人安危,冲锋在抗震救灾的第一线,不惜一切代价与死亡抢时间,用实际行动展现了白衣战士的光辉形象。本刊特别征集并选登了部分战斗在抗震第一线的耳鼻咽喉头颈外科医务工作者的救灾纪实,让我们向其不辞劳苦、不畏艰险、救死扶伤、无私奉献的精神表示崇高的敬意。同时,感谢在最短的时间里提供给我们信息的编委们。
At 14:28 on May 12, 2008, a rare 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck suddenly, and the beautiful scenery of Wenchuan was instantly destroyed; the broken beam left behind and was devastated; the casualties and grief of the entire country. The most damaging earthquake disaster since the founding of New China was the destructiveness, wide coverage, large number of disaster victims, and disaster ambassadors. However, in the face of disaster, the value of life is higher than that of the entire country. Medical workers in the country keep their mission in mind and go to the disaster area in all directions for the first time to carry out medical rescues. Together with the people’s children, they are responsible for assaulting the disaster-plagued people regardless of personal safety. Line, at any cost and time to grab the death, with practical actions to show the glorious image of the white soldiers. The journal has collected and selected some of the disaster-relief facts of medical workers in the otolaryngology and head and neck surgery who have fought in the front line of the earthquake. We are here to express our high respect for its tireless work, fear of dangers and dangers, rescue of the wounded, and selfless devotion. At the same time, we thank the editors who provided us with the information in the shortest possible time.
