Late last month, using a standard browser to manipulate Web 3-D images on the Web was a step closer to being practical, and companies and research institutes demonstrated their latest software development efforts. Companies participating at Siggraph include Seamless Solutions, IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center, Sun Microsystems, and MetaCreations.
