拥有20年军龄,1985年转业到涟水汽车站工作的李广石,历任站党支部书记、站长、县汽车客运总公司总经理兼党总支书记、县交通局副局长。企业在他领导下逐步发展壮大,固定资产由100多万元猛增到现在的2000多万元。1993年,在市同行业的位次由以往的下游进入前3名,经省、市考核升为市级三档企业。1995年以来,先后获得市、县文明单位、省“文明汽车站”称号。他本人在1996年被省委省政府授予“劳动模范”称号,被市、县授予“依靠职工办企业的优秀领导干部”称号。
