双宾语是指在动词谓语句中,一个动词带有两个宾语。离动词近的宾语,一般指人,叫近宾语;离动词远的宾语,一般指物,叫远宾语。也有人把近宾语叫间接宾语,把远宾语叫直接宾语。这种句式古今汉语都有。但是,双宾语句在古代汉语里的应用范围,却比现代汉语广泛得多,翻译成现代汉语的情况也有所不同。下面根据动词词义的不同,分类说明。一、“授予”、“教示”意义动词构成的双宾语古代汉语中动词“赐”、“予”、“遗”、“教”、“语”、“告”、“示”等,造句时一般要带双宾语。例如: ①项王曰:“赐之彘肩”。(《史记·项羽本纪》) ②陈余亦遗章邯书。(同上) 例①“赐之彘肩”双宾句。“之”指樊哙,指人在前,近宾语;“彘肩”指物在后,远宾语。全句可译为:把猪前肘赏给他。例②双宾句可译为:陈余也把信送给章
