恽代英同志是中国共产党早期的重要领导人之一,是“常州三杰”中的一位。 《恽代英家世考》一文,作者在深入实地考察研究的基础上,依据大量的文物和史料,对恽代英同志的籍贯地名、恽氏始祖、恽氏宗族分支、代英的世祖、恽氏祠墓、恽氏近世祖先简历、代英家众情况以及在常州住地等等,一一作了考证和分析,正本清源,纠正了以往一些有关研究文章和专著中的错误和讹传,这对于进一步研究恽代英同志有很大的参考价值。作者在研究中“存疑”的问题,还期待方家探讨和争鸣。
