Some believe that the Niuzhuang Post Office is located in Niuzhuang; some say Niuzhuang is the Yingkou of today. In fact, the Niuzhuang Post Office is not located in Niuzhuang, but is located in Yingkou. However, Yingkou and Niuzhuang are two different places in terms of place names. Although they are located in the lower reaches of the Liaohe River, they are more than 40 kilometers apart. Yingkou, formerly known as “No Gap Camp”, is a small village that is not noticeable. It was renamed Yingkou during the Qing Dynasty. The building of Niuzhuang (Niuhai City Niuzhuang Town) was earlier than Yingkou, and Niuzhuang Temple was established as early as the Ming Dynasty Hongwu, and it was attached to Haizhouwei. In the early years of Qing Xianfeng, Niuzhuang was already a famous port in China and abroad.
