作者用十二烷基磺酸钠作为选择剂,以不同剂量加入基础成分相同而指示剂各异的8个培养基内,经初选实验比较后,选出最佳新培养基:胰(月示)20 g,酵母浸膏6 g,乳糖30 g,十二烷基磺酸钠1 g,酚红0.2 g及苯胺蓝0.1g,蒸馏水1升(原文如此——译者)。用NaOH矫正pH至7.4,煮沸后冷却。制备的培养基当天使用时,不必进一步灭菌。水样取自西非塞拉里昂南方省、Moyambo地区的新住宅区供家庭用水的31个水源。全部水源均遭粪便大肠菌群(FC)污染。初试后进一步用多管法(用改良的Gray氏谷氨酸盐培养基)及滤膜法(孔径0.45 nm,滤膜直径47mm,用本文介绍的新培养基)检查各
The authors used sodium dodecyl sulfate as a selective agent, in different doses to add the same basic composition of different indicator 8 medium, after the primary experiment comparison, select the best new medium: pancreas (month 20 g yeast extract 6 g lactose 30 g sodium dodecyl sulfate 1 g phenol red 0.2 g and aniline blue 0.1 g distilled water 1 liter. The pH was adjusted to 7.4 with NaOH, cooled and boiled. The prepared medium is used on the same day without further sterilization. The water samples were taken from 31 water sources for domestic use in the new residential area of Moyambo, Southern Sierra Leone, Sierra Leone, Western Africa. All water was contaminated by faecal coliforms (FC). After the first test, each tube was further examined with a multi-tube method (using a modified Gray’s glutamate medium) and a filter method (pore size 0.45 nm, filter diameter 47 mm, using the new medium described herein)
