北京837是我所“七·五”期间培育的优良抗三锈新品种,综合性状好,穗大粒多,千粒重高,抗倒伏不早衰,除在生产上大面积推广外,在抗病育种工作中也被广泛用作抗病亲本而进行品种改良。田间调查发现,用它作为抗病亲本与感病农艺亲本杂交后,在大田人工接种情况下,其F_1代抵抗条锈病的组合占80%;与感病品种燕大1817杂交,对其F_1、F_2和回交F_1在温室进行苗期抗性鉴定,表明该品种具有一对显性抗条锈病基因。为进一步明确该基因所在的染色体位置,更有效地进行基因布局,于1991年对北京
