新一轮全国基础教育课程改革正轰轰烈烈地进行着,在进入新课程改革之后,教师的教育教学观念、意识已发生了很大的改变,在这个过程当中教师们也遇到了不少的困惑:新课程的理想课堂究竟是什么?如何在新的平台上确保课堂教学质量的提高?对于这些问题没有标准的答案。由于教师的理论水平、教学经验各不相同、每个人在课堂上的教学方法有所差别,教师与学生的和谐统一,靠教师单兵作战是万万不行的,必须相互切磋,取长补短,发挥群体优势,进行集体备课,确保增大教研容量,提高备课效率,优化课堂教学。英语集体备课是在形式和内容两方面对传统备课方式的扬弃,是完成教学准备工作的最有效途径,所以对英语集体备课的研究与重视势在必行。
