血红素氧合酶(HO)是催化血红素降解为一氧化碳(CO)、胆绿素和铁的限速酶,在人体内有着广泛的生物学功能,是重要的内源性保护系统之一。HO在人类胎盘组织中表达丰富,在妊娠胎盘处适度表达HO对正常妊娠有重要保护作用,其作用涉及母胎界面免疫耐受、胎盘螺旋动脉的生理性重铸、增加胎盘血流灌注、抗炎、抗凋亡、维持局部氧化-抗氧化平衡等作用,其表达下降可能参与了妊娠期高血压疾病、胎儿生长受限、自然流产等多种病理妊娠的发生,深入了解其作用和调控机制,可能对病理妊娠的防治有重要作用,成为治疗此类疾病新的靶向目标。
Heme oxygenase (HO) is a rate-limiting enzyme that catalyzes the degradation of heme to carbon monoxide (CO), biliverdin and iron. It has extensive biological functions in human body and is one of the important endogenous protective systems. HO is abundantly expressed in human placenta. Moderate expression of HO in placenta of pregnancy has an important protective effect on normal pregnancy. The effect of HO is related to immunocompromising of the maternal-fetal interface, physiologic recasting of the spiral artery of the placenta, increasing placental perfusion and anti-inflammation , Anti-apoptosis, maintain the local oxidation - antioxidant balance role, its expression may be involved in pregnancy-induced hypertensive disorders, fetal growth restriction, spontaneous abortion and other pathological pregnancy occurred, in-depth understanding of its role and regulatory mechanisms, May play an important role in the prevention and treatment of pathological pregnancy and become a new target for the treatment of such diseases.
