英国大英博物馆大英博物馆一向被认作是在中国之外藏有最多最好的中国文物的博物馆。1860年,英军从圆明园中所劫走的文物一部分献给了当时的维多利亚女王,另一部分被拍卖。献给女王的圆明园文物存放在大英博物馆。大英博物馆收藏的中国文物包括,青铜器、陶瓷器、书画、玉器、雕刻品等,共计23000余件,有许多是珍品、孤品。
The British Museum British Museum British Museum has always been regarded as a museum that has the best Chinese artifacts outside China. In 1860, part of the artifacts looted by the British Army from the Old Summer Palace was dedicated to Queen Victoria of the time and another part was auctioned. The Yuanmingyuan artifacts dedicated to the Queen are deposited in the British Museum. The British Museum’s collection of Chinese cultural relics includes bronze wares, ceramics, paintings, jade articles, and sculptures, totaling more than 23,000 pieces, many of which are treasures and orphans.
