In 2012, Chongqing steadily pushed forward regional economic cooperation and continued to expand its use of domestic capital to achieve stable and rapid growth. According to statistics, in 2012, the city actually used 16,669 domestic-funded projects, an increase of 10.5%; the actual utilized domestic funds amounted to 591,464 million yuan, up 20.2%. I. Significant Role of Large-scale Project Support In 2012, the city’s project with a contractual capital of over 10 million yuan grew rapidly. The actual domestic investment was 548.905 billion yuan, an increase of 18.6%, accounting for 92.8% of the city’s total.
