RMi系统是作者提出的一种新的岩体分类系统,与以往的RMR和Q系统等岩体分类系统不同。RMi系统是以意义明确的岩体参数为依据,通过完整岩石的抗压强度和节理状态参数而得到的。本文讨论了RMi的意义及块体体积参数的决定、RMi的应用范围说明之后,重点讨论了RMi系统在三个方面的应用,即RMi在确定岩体Hoek—Brown破坏准则常数中的应用、用RMi改善新奥法的分类、RMi在评价岩石支护中的应用(此项又分为连续地层、不连续(节理化)地层、断层和软弱带的稳定性及岩石支护来讨论),最后说明了RMi法的特点及局限性。
The RMi system is a new rock mass classification system proposed by the author, which is different from other rock mass classification systems such as the conventional RMR and Q systems. The RMi system is based on well-defined parameters of rock mass, obtained from the compressive strength and joint state parameters of the intact rock. This paper discusses the significance of RMi and the determination of block volume parameters.
