Marcuse’s political philosophy includes both technical politics and aesthetic politics. His main point of technical politics is that in contemporary Western society, technology has become a new kind of ideology that controls people. His aesthetic politics emphasizes that aesthetic art is a possible way to realize the freedom and liberation in the contemporary West.
