一、前言作为情报学理论中最具有特色的文献计量学,近几年来,无论是在理论研究方面,还是在应用研究方面,均取得了令人可喜的进展。文献[1]对这方面的研究工作做了较全面的和详尽的总结,是颇具有参考价值和指导意义的。从笔者所统计的百余篇文献来看,文献计量中的理论方法研究与应用研究都非常活跃,而且是平衡发展的。前者54篇,约占43%;后者72篇,约占57%。在文献计量应用研究中,除了人们所熟知的核心期刊评选外,其研究领域还有学科发展动向预测研究,如文献[2]关于激光科学发展趋势之预测;文献[3]对电波传播技术发展之预测,等等。另外,运用文献计量的方法进行人才的评选(价),自文
I. Preface As the most distinctive bibliometrics in information science theory, in recent years, both the theoretical research and the applied research have made gratifying progress.
