唱针尖(stylus) 与唱片纹槽直接接触,并拾取振荡信息的零件。从早期的竹针、钢针直到演变为今日的宝石、钻石针。针尖曲率半径及使用材料、重量等是其重要特性。通常多为0.013～0.018毫米曲率半径的球形针尖,高档的有椭园型、线接触型及其它特殊形状的针尖。钻石针尖又分为两种:①整体型钻石针:是针尖的高档款式,常用于优质拾音头。钻石比重为3.5,较一般材料小,可使拾音头振动系统等效质量低而具有优良特性。针尖后端常制成角柱形,以确定晶轴方向,保证在纹槽接触处有最大硬度。通常在2克针压下,寿命约1500小时。②焊接型钻石针:在金属基柱(如铁、钛等)上采用多层焊接工艺联接钻石坯料,再加工成型,以节省钻石、降低成本,普及型电磁拾
