作公共图书馆是为了给广大读者提供服务的场所,是便于人们获取知识的港湾。随着信息技术的不断发展,传统的图书馆管理模式已经无法高效地为人们提供服务,无法满足人们对传统书籍以及网络知识获取的需求。在这种环境下,公共图书馆需要适应信息时代发展,从自身管理和意识改变出发,合理运用现代信息平台,并要加强自身的服务意识,努力实现公共图书馆发展的同时达到服务人民大众的目的,真正做到图书馆的公共化。
