在本篇综述中,我们对现今单核苷酸多态(SNP)研究所蕴之动机进行了分析。许多此方面的研究都是建立于大样本、群体水平之上的,在此,着重探讨它在遗传流行病研究中的应用。首先回顾遗传性多态用于减数分裂绘图分析疾病易感基因的历史,继而讨论SNP的一些独特之处,以及它在人群研究中的利弊。以下就SNP技术在六方面的应用作一描述和评价。
In this review, we analyze the motivation behind the current single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) studies. Many studies in this area are based on large samples and groups. Here, we will focus on its application in the study of genetic epidemiology. We first review the genetic polymorphism that was used in meiosis mapping to analyze the history of disease susceptibility genes and then discuss some of the unique features of SNPs and their pros and cons in population studies. The following SNP technology in six aspects of a description and evaluation.
