In the 1960s, African American boxing champion Rubin Carter was framed by police and imprisoned for jail. His appeal was repeatedly dismissed, intending to spend the rest of his life from the outset. Several years later, Carter’s memoir in prison touched the boy who had never met Linnaeus, who was determined to summon several Canadian civil rights activists to fight against an unfair justice system and to fight for the freedom and the liberty of Rubin Carter in the end. The film adapted from a real life story, involving sensitive themes of racial discrimination. Black film actor Denzel Washington watched Rubin Carter’s autobiography moved, volunteered to perform the film.
