First, the status quo of our foreign banks and regulatory questions that exist today With the implementation of China’s opening up policy, foreign banks began to visit China. In 1979, Japan’s Export-Import Bank took the lead in setting up an office in Beijing and became the first foreign bank to open its door to China after the reform and opening up. In 1982, Nanyang Commercial Bank of Hong Kong set up a branch in Shenzhen. Is this the first foreign-funded operating finance approved by the Chinese government?
