Urban Land Institute (ULI) recently released the “2016 Mainland China Real Estate Market Survey.” The report shows that China's real estate market enjoyed a strong recovery last year, benefiting from the lenient monetary policy of the Chinese government last year and favorable housing market policies, such as the cancellation of housing purchase policies in addition to the four first-tier cities in the country. The current recovery in the real estate market is reflected in the fact that in the 12 months to June this year, the average price of new residential buildings in first-tier and third-tier cities grew at an average annual rate of 8.9%.
