日本是世界上目前唯一一个以举国上下全力以赴姿态向信息化、信息社会发展的国家。对于信息化,日本从政府到民间,从国家首脑到各界人士都抱有极大热情和积极关注。政府予以大力配合合作,致使近一二十年来日本的信息化有了极大的发展。 据统计,日本1979年广义信息产业规模占国民生产总值(GNP)比重已达35.4%,其中一级信息产业部门占GNP14.7%,二级信息部门占20.7%。预计到2000年将上升到48%,产值高达240万亿日元。
Japan is the only country in the world that has made all-out efforts by the entire country to information and information society. For informationization, Japan has great enthusiasm and active attention from the government to the private sector and from the head of state to people of all walks of life.
