In October 2001, the Fourth Beijing International Music Festival was grandly opened in Beijing. The festive concerts held at the Poly Theater at the Festival attract special attention. With the concerted efforts of the Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra under Yu Long, the “Erhu Concerto” with Chinese national characteristics has performed on the same stage with the “Cello Concerto” by the American composer Phillip and Grasse. ?
