萧红故居是东北传统民居的典作,可以作为东北传统民居形制与特征研究的对象。萧红故居已经被评为国家二级保护建筑,是一所具有文化历史发展体现、东北风俗风貌特征体现、东北传统经济与地域体现的建筑物。再加上萧红是一位著名的女作家,她对人们的生活热度、精神意志等方面影响力非常大,将萧红自身的影响力与萧红所生活的环境相连,更加的体现出萧红故居是圣人所在地,对历史文化更有传承力,因此对东北传统民居的研究非常有意义。
